Flange joint is a kind of component widely used in engineering design. It is an essential part of piping design and pipe fitting valve. There are many kinds of it, such as blind flange, socket weld flange, threaded flange, slip on flanges, weld neck flange and so on. When the original transmission parts can not directly use the cone sleeve connection form in the assembly structure, the original product can be technically modified in the form of a flange cone sleeve to meet the assembly and transmission requirements of the existing equipment.
Cone sleeve is a new type of mechanical transmission connecting part, which has the characteristics of high standardization, high precision, compact structure, convenient installation and disassembly. The flange cone sleeve is tightly connected to the inner cone surface of the pulley, sprocket and other transmission parts through the outer cone surface, which greatly improves the centering accuracy of various transmission parts. The flange cone sleeve has good interchangeability and is suitable for various occasions.
The holes where the cone sleeve and the pulley match are all half-sided. And the light hole on the cone sleeve and the threaded hole on the pulley form a complete hole. The threaded hole on the cone sleeve and a light hole on the pulley form a complete hole. During assembly, the two screws are placed in the two threaded holes of the belt pulley. As the screws are continuously tightened, the screw is pushed to the small end of the taper hole on the belt pulley by the thread function, while the two light holes in the cone did not pass through completely. In this way, when the head of the screw is against the bottom of the light hole, the force is transmitted to the tapered sleeve, and the cone sleeve moves towards the small end of the cone hole of the pulley relative to the pulley. At this time, because of the taper, the taper sleeve constantly wraps the shaft, and the shaft reacts on the taper sleeve. In this way, the pulley, cone sleeve and shaft are tightly assembled.
(1) Put the power clamping device in the machine spindle into released position.
(2) Ensure that the power clamping fixture cannot be moved during the disassembly/assembly of the clamping fixture.
(3) Switch off the machine.
(4) Move the power actuation unit towards against the stop in the fixture. The taper sleeve must be released.
(5) Disassemble the backstop ring. Loosen all fixing screws and remove them. Remove the backstop ring.
(6) Remove the taper sleeve.
(7) Insert a new taper sleeve.
(8) Insert the central screw and tighten it with a preseted torque wrench.
(9) Insert the cover from the front side with the assembled O-Ring.
(10) Insert the fixing screws of the cover and tighten it with a presetted torque wrench across.
(11) Check all components for damage and wear.
(12) Exchange defective components.
(13) Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
(14) Thoroughly clean and lightly oil all components before assembly.
(15) No lubricants with friction-reducing additives may be used on the clamping elements and the components in contact with these.
When the transmission parts are operated for a long time, the inner hole and the chain groove may be damaged. If this transmission part is used with a tapered sleeve, it can be restored to use by replacing the tapered sleeve with the same specification. Therefore, the service life of the transmission parts is greatly improved, the maintenance cost is reduced, and the time is saved.
